Sticking to my shopping freeze has been difficult, especially with the temperatures ramping up and new Spring merch dropping everywhere. Luckily, I’m blessed with a sweet and understanding mom who just couldn’t let a size 5 shoe (on sale) go to waste.

I was with my parents on a Target run (dangerous, I know!) My mom and I inevitably end up in the shoe section. My dad’s in the background saying, “Don’t you have enough shoes?”  Nonsense, Dad.  Nonsense.

I really loved this style from Prabal Gurung for Target (especially the black and white combo) but they were sold out so quickly – I gave up hope of ever seeing them. I was enthralled when they were on the shelf with a “half off” sticker.

But – alas – no shopping until May 1st.

My mom knows how hard it is to find a size 5 – forget finding one you love. For only fifteen dollars, on top of a buy one get one half off promo – we both ended up with something we loved. Guilt free! (Thanks, Mom!)

This is one of the sandal shapes I’m obsessed with for Spring. (You may remember it from my Spring ’13 shopping list.) They’re bold, comfortable, and have a flirty little wedge.  What’s not to love?
