To all my NY/NJ viewers: I hope you stay safe and taking precautions during Sandy! Since everything from the MTA to the NYSE are closed, V.Ng and I are spending the day at home. We’re making the best of the “hurrication” with lots of Halloween candy and TV (while we still have power.)
I love hanging out in pj’s but I wanted to be productive and getting dressed helps a lot! Plus, I’m prepared in case we have to make quick getaway!
I love the bold color on this flannel shirt. (I ripped the front pocket off because it was too mini.)
I’m 5′ tall and not afraid to take advantage of kids’ lines. It’s a great way to get trends with a better fit for a lower price. These comfy leggings from abercrombie were under $20 and the best part: I don’t need to hem them!
In case we have to evacuate, I have my rain boots ready. Years ago, during Parsons, my (very chic) girlfriend insisted I own too much black and should definitely buy the white pair. I get so many compliments, I’m grateful I obeyed! (My secret to keeping them white: Magic Eraser! Seriously!!)
Please stay safe (and cozy) everyone!
